    One of the leaders in traffic tracking. They offer a variety of solutions (mostly fee-based.)
  2. 1 Stop PowerStats
    Free - Platform(s): Unix, Mac
    No SSI needed. Keeps track of referrers, hits, date, time, OS, browser, screen size, day of the week hits, and much more. Very easy to install. Stats for up to six pages on your site.
  3. A1 Statistics
    Free - Platform: Unix
    A full featured traffic monitoring tool which does not use server access logs. Extremely easy to install using the auto-configuration feature. No script changes necessary. Provides summaries and detailed statistics by file and date, showing you exactly where your traffic is coming from. Offers many useful features.
  4. Add2it Go-To Free
    Free - Platform(s): Unix, WinNT
    Add2it Go-To Free This is a multilingual link statistics & forwarding script. When somebody follows one of your links, the script automatically records it, and your statistics are adjusted accordingly. This free script finances itself with a banner ad that is displayed at the bottom of the page.

    Add2it Go-To Pro is a multilingual, six month link statistic reports and forwarding script. When somebody follows one of your links, the script automatically records it, and your statistics are adjusted accordingly. This version is ad free.
  6. Analog
    Free - Platform: Unix
    Analog is a program that analyses log files from your web server. It tells you which pages are most popular, which countries people are visiting from, which sites they tried to follow broken links from, and much more.
  7. AXS Site Tracking System
    Free
    AXS records visits to your web page and processes the records into meaningful graphs and database listings. The script tells you where visitors are coming from, charts their flow through your site, and reveals the links they follow when leaving. It also records their server name, IP address, type of web browser, and time of visit.
  8. Bennie Webdesign Stats v2.0
    Free - Platform: Unix
    Use this script to create a log file that you can analyze with a program like FastStats 2.51. You can view the log file online as well, but the data is not really organized. Once you've opened the log file in FastStats, you'll be able to get all the statistics you want! Number of visits, browser and OS used, entering point, URL referrers, most popular pages, most recent accesses-you name it!

    Bestdam Logger will automatically e-mail hit stats and logs daily or weekly. Easy-to-read column format. Optional counter can be invisible, text, or graphics. Multi-page support. Optional history log, re-settable counts, double-spacing of report. Very customizable. Free Lite version. Perl 4 script. Requires SSI.
  10. ClickCount

    ClickCount is a FREE Program that will keep track of all the hits and clicks on your page. It includes a viewer with color tables to view the log online. Password is changeable for the viewer.
  11. Chatologica WebStats - Server Edition

    Start your own webstats and top sites service like hitbox.com and superstats.com. Referral partners earn 35% commission.
  12. ClickLog
    Free - Platform: Unix
    Perlfect Clicklog lets you track users clicking links on your web site. It works by redirecting accesses to an URL (or local pathname) passed as a parameter. You can use this script to track any activity you want: (a) circulation/distribution of traffic (b) users downloading files, and (c) click-thrus on advertising banners/buttons. The script keeps a log of accesses marking the source and target URLs along with a count associated to each pair. The log is a plain text file which can be further processed to produce reports.
  13. Colored Scripts Hit Statistics

    Separate tracking of visitors and hits. Hits are grouped by continent, country, referrer, target, and software used. Comfortable graphic interface.
  14. Count N' Log
    Free
    The script is written in PERL (CGI) and requires Server Side Includes (SSI) in order to run properly. Also, this script counts and tracks all the people who visit your page. You have the option to display your text counter or to keep it hidden. This script also gives you the ability to log certain information about visitors such as: time accessed, type of brower, previous page, and their internet access (service) provider.
  15. CountDown
    Free - Platform: Unix
    Countdown will log hits for multiple file downloads from your site. It records the hits for all files in a single log file, orders the file (max-to-min), and then auto-forwards the user to the download. No prompts are given to the user.
  16. CountLogCreator
    $49 - Platform: Unix
    CountLogCreator sets up your own counter and page logging, on as many pages and in as many styles as you wish. CountLogCreator does it all for you automatically, within your browser and without any configuration or setup. It creates a sample HTML page containing the code. You can place your logo (or any other image) below your counter with a link to any URL. It includes the superb AXS Site Tracker as its logging module. Requires SSI.
  17. Daily Stats
    Free - Platform: Unix
    Perlfect Daily Stats is a web server log analysis tool that generates daily activity reports for your site. It produces breakdowns of document hits/views, referring urls, referring domains, site entry points/gateways, and referring protocols. Reports are formatted in HTML. Report data is sorted and is accompanied with the respective percentages and graphs.
  18. EasyLog

    This is a simple Server Side Includes script that can "watch" a given page, and add entries to a HTML file reporting what browser they are using, when they accessed your page, and a few other pieces of information.
  19. EastStats

    This is a super hot stats CGI that basically collects all the info you need on your web site's visitors, including where they go when they leave!
  20. EKLog
    Free - Platform: Unix
    It's a web page counter-logger that keeps track of visitors and other information. The count can be displayed as text or image. A number of customizations can be made, and a web-based statistics page is available.
  21. eWLA : eWebLogAnalyzer
    Free - Platform: Unix
    e Web Log Analyzer (eWLA) is a web server log file analysis program that produces detailed usage statistics. It presents its responses in graph and table form.

    Follow is a session-based log file analysis tool. You can use it to improve your site by tracking visitor's web browsing patterns.
  23. FTP Logger
    Free - Platform: Unix
    This perl program was written to analyze WU-FTPd logfiles. The author admits that it may not be the best possible viewer for 'xferlog' files. It's developed for Unix systems.
  24. IPLog

    IP Log is an easy to use script that keeps track of all the people entering your site or accessing restricted pages. Uses SSI.
  25. Hitman
    $159 US - Platforms: Unix, WinNT
    Hitman is a web-based log analyzer that creates easy to read statistical reports about how people are using your site.
  26. Log Watch
    Free - Platform: Unix
    Log Watch is a free script that lets you watch you web server logs (or any other log on your server for that matter), via the web, as they update. So you'll be able to see exactly when your server's being hit. You can specify several logs to watch in the script, and then choose whichever one you wish to view.
  27. log-reader.cgi
    Free - Platform: Unix
    The log-reader.cgi program is designed to operate as a Perl/CGI program. It reads the Apache access_log file in standard ECLF format, interprets the records in this file, and returns (a) the most popular URL's on your web site and (b) the top TCP/IP addresses of clients who visited your web site. With this information, you can determine which URL's on your site are popular, and who they appeal to. You can also tell if somebody has been spidering your web site by looking for uncommonly high numbers of hits from one web site address.
  28. LogNess

    LogNess monitors page hits and makes use of Server Side Includes (SSI). With the separate ViewStats script, you can see your stats, which will be filtered by page hits (by page, day and month), visitors, referrers, search engines, mail hosts, browsers, OS and more.
